As far as I know, it always gets stored in the Inbox (Beamed messages) and one has to transfer it from there. Any others know better?

Can you move a large file to the mem stick temporarily while you receive the file, then move it back. A bit of a pain, but a possible workaround nonetheless.

Thanks guys for you replies...

The problem is occured while transmitting the data via blutoth
it get failed in the middle of transmitting becuase of low meomry.

it happend also that friend of my was trying to send me one folder but have so many small clips inside the folder. he was sending from nokia 6600..and i remebe that arround 9 files got comleted but fromt he sender the folder transmitting was not fnoshed yet. and it got failed becuase my internal meomry was low and after the intrruption i could not find the files that were recived and completed in the Beamed folder.

I think thats a disadvantage from SE and they should do someting about it..

Cheers.

Yes everything u send via bluetooth will be saved in the internal memory, there is not other option. This is really bad because i cant recive big files from another phone, also the MMS are stored in the internal memory and when im running out of mem i need to delete them, SE should put an option to where save beamed files and MMS.

hiya, you mentioned that your friend sent you a large folder containing several files, you could try sending them one at a time and move each one onto your memory stick, also if you minimise everything that uses your internal memory(remove apps to your memorystick, and clear all mms sms email etc) you can get just over 10mb of internal memory space which may be big enough for the files. Good luck!

Yes thats goes to the IR Transfers as well becuase it also
get saved in the BEAMED.

Linus I know what you mean by saving one by one.
thats just a pain in the Neck! even for the sender
becuase he have to send each file alone and thats not
friendly..

in nokia they get the option where to save! and you know the Sender's nickname... and We talking about P900! it should have everything..
