my battery randomly went completly white(empty)even though l had 86% minutes earlier.l clicked on Status and it said 0% but the red light didnt appear like lt usually does when your battery ls low.so l plugged lt lnto my charger and straight away lt jumped up to a Fully green battery and stopped(instead of goin up and down like it usually does when lts charging)so l unplugged lt and the battery has stayed fully green for the past hour but the Status says my battery level ls 76%! any ideas?

cheers

Try to use it the battery until it is really dead and then charge overnight and see happens. Did you condition your battery when it was new?

l put the p910 battery lnto my P900 with the same results so l guess lt lsnt a firmware issue lf it happens ln both phones.and l put the P900 battery ln my P910 and lt works fine

@Higher ground

It certainly seems to be a battery issue so I would advise you to try and claim a new one under your warranty.

As I am having the exact same problem I would appreciate hearing if you have any further comments like have you finally concluded it's a battery problem and not a handset defect?
Does your P910 battery work OK in your other handset?
What sort of battery life do you get with moderate use? By that I mean no MP3, camera, GPRS etc just say 30 mins talktime plus another 30-40 mins PDA type use per day?
I'm struggling to get a couple of days out of mine.
Appreciate your help as I am overseas for a month, my handset is under 'defect replacement' warranty for 2 more weeks then I'm stuffed!

Just received my second P910i from SE because my first one locked up completely and no firmware update would ressucitate it. However, I'm experiencing the same battery problem (shows 100% or 0% and now 50%). Now with flip closed status, shows 58% when asked in the menu while icon stauts says 50. Battery is new and original, firmware the latest version here. Anybody has a definitive answer on this ?
