The mains charger that came with my K700i out-puts 5.07 volts and appears to charge the phone in about an hour, i.e. no more movement in the charge icon. I recently bought an in-car charger from Carphone Warehouse, their own brand, and it out-puts 6.42 volts, and will seem to be still charging after 3 hours on the road. I do get longer battery life after an in-car charge, about 3 days of calls, texts and games, but will the higher voltge damage the battery ? Anyone know the Ericsson in-car charger out-put voltage ?
