I've tried that and you only have to slightly "move" the battery terminals apart on the phone so that they will line up with the BLD-3 battery of Nokia. It even says "Optimized charging" when you charge the battery. I've been using this battery for about a month (?) and I think it is the same or maybe a little better than the K700i's original battery. Sorry to say but Nokia's Lithium batteries are better than SE's. But don't take my word for it. That's just my opinion.

But, looks like the author is talkin' ' bout 2 different brand models here pal. There is still the 'Ericsson' in the newly merged - Sony Ericsson. Unless, it's Sony Nokia or Nokia Ericsson ?
