> Configuration Error on Orange K700i Help?

Hello Guys,
I have gotthe following message on my orange branded K700i
"configuration error please contact network or service centre"
This message on when I switch the phone on after entering my pin No ,it does not allow you in the phone menu and displays this message constantly,got Orange tech support looking at it but the said it might take 2 days to get back to me,Anone else had this problem and how did you solve it? tried the sim in another phone and that works fine,tried removing the battery for a period nothing works,what do you think.should I ask Orange for a replacement handset?
