Picked up my new S700i last Friday from "Sunday" one of HK service providers, for an amazing attractive price of HK$4680. First shipment sold out within hours of hitting the streets. I have posted my hands-on review on Mobile9.com plus photos of a Radio Charger Base unit especially designed for K700/S700 to listen to the radio without having to plug in the handsfree cable.
Basically IDENTICAL to the K700. Only support 128MB MS Duo, not the PRO series, what a shame. Swivel front panel makes dialling out when driving Dangerous, DC feature surpass other phone/camera.
If anyone contemplating of buying a K700, check out the S700, might changed your mind.

Dialling whne driving - you can use voice dialling, and can even set up a 'magic word' so that you don't even have to touch the phone and it will activate the voice dialling feature, according to the user guide (as long as numbers are stored in phonebook)
Base station - is that the Css 25???

hehe dialling while driving is dangerous anyway, here in the UK it is illegal to hold almost anything in your hand while driving. A woman got fined £40 for eating a banana while driving!

The radio charger unit itself is not for sale through SE-HK, but bundled with the K700. It does not comes with built-in speakers like the Nokia unit, it use SE K700/S700 built-in speakers instead. I will try and post a photo here tonight. You can charge your phone via the AC adapter or a USB cable comes supplied. It automatically activate the Radio Function, select Turn On Speaker and you can listen to radio & charge your phone at the same time.
It's different rule to other parts of the world, that here in HK, you can have your lunch when you drive and won't get fined. Thanks for reminding me about the voice-dialling, I'll set one up soon.
Anyway, I hope this S700 comes to your cities soon and more SE fans can enjoy taking one home. No phone is perfect and neither is the S700, but it'll do for the time being.

I doubt it. It will most probably be limited from the E100 platform to the same video resolution as the K700. Pure guess on my part though

There is no full screen viseo playback. I can confirm that as I have an S700i. It has been mentioned about 10 times already in other threads.

Another small issue with the S700i is the camera shutter sound.
The audio cannot be muted when taking pictures even the phone is on silent mode. Taking illlegal pictures of women may be a problem
