I have this annoying problem with changing my mobile. I had Nokia 6310 before and I used its own memory to keep my contacts. I also used the Caller Groups -function. So I could get my old numbers to my brand new SE Z600 I copied all my contacts to my SIM-card. Then I just changed the SIM & SE loaded my contacts from the SIM to the phone. Perfect, but only so far. The trouble is when I had e.g. two numbers for my contacts in Nokia like this:
name: xxx
home: xxxxx0xxx
mobile: xxxx0xxxxx0xx
That name is now twice in my SE like follows:
xxx (for home)
xxx1 (for mobile)
There is also an other problem. It's with the Caller Groups. If the contact was in a caller group the name in my SE is now followed by either & or $ or whatever the current caller group identifier is. Now it'd be really unpleasant to fix all my numbers by hand so do you guys know any other solution for this problem?

I am afraid u have to manage it one by one. Nokia and se have diff fonebooks, so thats the only solution. Or maybe u could use fma, fix it on pc and send it to fone.

I solved the problem with multiple numbers per contact by synchronize Microsoft Outlook first with the Nokia, and then with the SE. But I don't know if the groups will remain...

The groups will be lost, SE doesn't support that function. As @boba said the best advice is to manually re-order them in FMA and then send them back to phone.
