I am not very confortable having to pull-out/pull-in/pull-into the jog dial to unlock the screen. I have removed my keypad.

Is there a way to unlock the screen *without* using the jog dial in any other fashion?. Can tracker be used to say, use the internet/camera buttons to unlock the screen when pressed in a specific order?

Is your phone on charge? You cant lock it while its on charge, for some reason.

I installed tracker and asked it to make use of the camera and internet buttons. It worked fine ... after that the screen locked and no matter what I did it could not unlock, not even with the jog dial... god knows what combination I used. If I remember, one push on the cam button locked it and the two pushes of the internet button unlocked it. But it got screwed when the P900s internal locker locked the phone and even the jog dial did not work at that time

Yes, unfortunately, you must disable the phone's screen lock if you want to use third-party locks such as those in Tracker or Keymapper.

I think this is because Tracker is locking the jog dial and the phone's lock is locking the internet button (in your case), so you can't do anything at all. You will have to remove the battery to reset your phone, and then disable the phone's screen lock function.

It's a shame that these third-party programs aren't able to simply initiate the normal screen lock, to prevent crashes.

I really wish tracker allowed functions to be assigned to HOLDING the jog dial forwards/backwards. I don't want to assign things to a normal forward/backward press, as the default functions of these are very useful!

I may have to re-install Keymapper to get this ability back, but it seems pointless having two programs installed just for this.

Oh well....
