does anybody out ther know if the k700i is compatible with the "EDGE"
technology??
its basically used to view streaming video i mean d stuff u get on tv n various uther stuf...
anyone out der knw abt it lemme knw ...

Yeap, K700i isn't Edged. But Edge isn't for video streaming. It's similar to gprs. Data speed in Slovakia is about 20kilobytes per second, which isn't enough for it.

I think it is hw think. That's why it's called 2,5G network. It differs from gprs but it's still based on gsm technology.

I remember reading some where that when upgrading from gprs to edge , core network is not changed only these is some software changes/upgrades. So it should be same with the phones (?)
