I am using gprs for wap....but im still waiting 3 or 4 seconds for a wap page....is something wrong or was i wrongly expecting it to be instant?

I do somes test on a prototype of sagem GPRS modem during 3 month,
YES wap pages are light (about 500 bytes without pictures),
and when i was downloading BIG files (more than 100Kbytes),
the average speed was about ~4,8Kbytes/s
but GPRS latency is very hight, between 700 and 900ms when all is good.
So, GPRS don't really increase speed by ~4.
Tha's one of the reasons, that you should (if you are webmaster) use cards in WML pages, to limmit numbers of elements.

gsm and gprs seem comparable on my handset in terms of page loading speeds. I do think that the browser scrolls faster when using gprs, but it could be because i have R1B firmware.

I see no difference, takes about the same time. I could be blind though.
