Hi everyone. I'm very glad to have found this place. I have searched the archives but couldn't find the answer.

I'm struggling to sync. The phone is recognised, the software seems to be properly installed and the sync process DOES actually begin and some data is transferred. But I always get a message like this:

"you are not authorised for the selected operation or the username/password is correct"

Then the sync "aborts" and closes itself. Sometimes the data is synced and sometimes it isn't synched, sometimes Calendar items are duplicated.

Hmmm, any ideas? Am I likely to have any better luck with Lotus?

troubleshooting sync should always be done by removing various categories - eg only sync the calendar and see if it works... gradually turn more on until you find the fault.
