I can understand a T200 resembling the T65 but a T300 resembling the T20 sounds definitely wrong!

WHEN can we find them in shop ?
I should buy a T65 this week, i can wait a little, but not if they will be in shop in december, or in 2003 !

can be just a rumour about a java version of T68, or it can be true

haven't seen any other news site publish anything about

presenting a T68j though...
we'll just have to wait until tomorrow when

has a press conference to see what they have hidden up their sleeves

@moua:
I think the new phones will come out end this year, at the earliest. The usual lead time between presentation of a new mode and the time th hits the stores seems to be about 6 months. T68 was presented in March, came in October, same with the Nokia phones. -jas

Hi everybody. I'm Italian and i'm a member of that site forum...
I can roughly translate that for you:
That says that by next week, at the CommunicAsia 2002, Sony Ericsson is expected (but that's not for certain) to introduce three new cell phones for the GSM market. Their names are SUPPOSED to be T200, T300 and T68j.
The T200 is the successor to the T65, with blue retroillumination and a greyscale display. The T300 is a low-cost version of the T68, with a shape resembling the one of the T20 model, 256-color display, MMS support, polyphonic ringtones, and the ability to change front covers. It's internal memory will be of 500 KB and will be able to download new backgrounds, MMS, ringtones and even games, in a new standard purpose-developed by Sony Ericsson.
The T68j, which could end up with a different name, will be a Java-compatible version of the T68i. Little is known about this phone, except that it could be a little bigger than its brother. But these news are not to be taken for granted, and we have to wait till next week to learn the truth. Fact remains that Sony Ericsson are betting their money on GPRS, even if launch of first UMTS networks is getting near.
Hope i have been of ome help to those interested! Bye!
