that's very helpful. espcially without any keywords for a possible search there is no chance anybody will ever find your post.
the solution posted was: getting a terminator dongle and DIV software, a firmware file without the pre dfined items and flash your own phone with this firmware.

Its too risky imo. The chance is 50% of a success, what is actually not bad, but the risk is 50% too and a gif isnt worth for it.

i heard that you can simply
Create a notepad file on your PC
Rename it as per the file you want gone
Send it to your K700i
The phone reports that the file already exists & do you want to replace it?
Just say Yes
Then delete the bogus file you just sent

I was about to post that. If it's a gif file named flowers, name a pic flowers.gif and send it to your phone, it'll replace the old one which should now be deletable.

After using that the dongle solution, t630 got 2484kb fre mem, the 2 email templatetes stay. Its really interesting the file replace way, first time i hear it.
