SMan
It shows the tasks currently running & enables u to end them to clear your RAM up a bit. This will prolong ur battery life.
Also contains the famous 'Bluejack' feature (great fun!)
Best of all.... IT'S FREE!
U'll flnd it on

Which is best? Sman or Switcher - another "Killprogram"?

Dude, SMan...
They're both free, but SMan has more features.

Just a very complex program - many features... Snapshot... What is that?¿? etc...

Read the manual before you ask questions about Sman. Especially if you wonder about apparent things like Snapshot.

Have read it about snapshot, but I'm not sure I understand it...
Is it a function where you say, now I want my P900 to go back to be exactly as when I took the snapshot?¿?
Also, is it a good idea to mark the flush exclude and forced endtask?

I enclose the entry in manual re:snapshot
Snapshot - The snapshot command records the list of
applications running in memory and stores it
in SMan's snapshot file. This information
is used when the user issues a flush command.
SMan will purge all running applications from
memory except those in the snapshot list.
Apparent if you are familiar with developer / geek speak if you speak plain English it is less than apparent! sorry but you are being presumptive Lord Mike, remember we are not all so technical here have a nice day

Are there any other tricks? - What about the function "flipclose flush"?
Please explain in plain english if you can...

@ Foxhunter
Hi Mate I hope you managed to thanlk Lord Mike for his "helpful" input in answering your perfectly valid question! anyway "Flipclose flush" when ticked simply means when you close the flip on your phone (or virtual flip) Sman closes all other things you may have had running like camera or messages it frees up memory and system resourceas to the others who knows I cant make any sence of them at all. Remember techies love "geek speak" it covers up a wide range of failings! I should know I place dozens of them in jobs every year! system documentation in the Symbian market place is especialy prone to this kind if thing, just try and uninstall Qfile manager you cant! they actualy forgot to include an uninstaller!!and the documentation offers little help either (or at last that which I have seen) give me Big Bills windows for all its failings everyday! (stand by for outraged Open Systems developers rant)
