OK - here's my problem.....

I want to transfer a 35M mp3 file across to the P910 (with 50+M free free on the internal memory). However - I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

I can connect the phone to my PC via either IR or USB (no bluetooth on this PC), but right clicking on the file on the PC doesn't give me a "send via IR" option.

Is there a way to do this - I suppose the other option is to buy a larger memory stick (currently the 32M that came with the phone), but I don't really want to do that right now....

install the pc suite, use the cradle and drop it on using filemanager.

get a USB card reader for mem stick then transfer through that it will do 35 mb in 10 seconds where as p910i data suite will take 35minutes.

Aha ! Got it. Thanks. I was trying to use File Manager to just drop it onto the "My P910i" icon in FM, but it wouldn't work. Stupidly, I hadn't realised that I had to expand the P910 icon and drp it onto the right "drive" choice...

he obviously hasn't got a card reader of he'd have said it.

I agree with the other guy about your replies generally being a bit crap...

Funnily enough, I do have a card reader built into my printer, but I only have 32M memory stick duos (and it's a 38M file...). I don't really want to go out and buy bigger ones as I use CF as my main storage card format and have plenty gigs of this already.

Anyway - problem solved - drag & drop from file manager, even if it did take a while.
