> crack on edge of screen! under warranty?

hi there guys and gals
i remember reading i while back that the flip on some peoples P900 had cracked the screen "frame" on the right side.
at first i thought that these people should take more care with their lovely phones - until i found the same crack on my phone yesterday.
i was just wondering if any1 got there phone replaced under warranty - or do i have to claim with my insurance to get a new phone? surely this is a problem with the design of the phone as so many have had this problem.
to be honest this small crack is the least of my worries - my P900 is in a very very poor state (crack on screen, crack on frame, battery level indicator always says 0%, phone lock option not reappearing after disconecting charger, as well as it generally looking like its been used as a bowling ball), so i was going to "lose" it and claim on insurance anyway.
but if the cracking of the edge of the frame is a warranty issue that would be brilliant.
what are your views?

I doubt that they will do it under warrenty if the phone is in a bad condition because they will say that the phone has been abused.

yeah, thats what i figured. now to cap it all my touch screen is buggered! its out of sync by half a centermeter - now i cant select anything from the toolbar at the bottom of the screen!
