Right, well I have mentioned this on here recently, but since the issue has become particularly worse, I wonder if anyone else suffers the same?
My, almost 1 year old, P900 began it's life with exceptionally good battery life comapred to some others... and it continued to do so for wuite a while...
However, several Orange firmware updates later, and recent battery life had severely plummeted... Well thats a little incorrect, as it still stays on for a good while (around a week on fairly light usage), but if someone calls me, or I call someone, then the damn thing "restarts to improve performance" a few times cutting me off after sometimes a few minutes, others a few seconds - yet the indicator shows 60-70% of battery life before and after restarts - sometimes, the only way to get the thing back on properly is the remove the battery and reinsert a few seconds later...
This is getting mightily annoying now, and makes the phone particularly unreliable - I have sourced a batter replacement, but thats £30 I really do not want to waste, if it doesn't solve the problem adequately...
So, anyone suffer similar problems... know of it to be a fault, or battery related or whatever...
Let us know... Cheers!

Batt performance depends on usage and charging method. If u 'trained' your batt for a certain way to be charged, it gets used to it. Actually after 1 year it should have an acceptable performance. U should drain the batt almost empty, but not discharge and put to the plug for all night long 2 or 3 times in off mode. Or charge til its full in on mode and disconnect if its ended.

I've had exactly the same problem.
It seemed to start about the same time that I installed SMAN?
Have just got a replacement phone from orange after over a month of calling their tech support.
Do you think it could be related to SMAN in your case? I'm nervous about re-installing SMAN now!

A full discharge followed by a full charge once every three or four weeks helps in improving the accuracy of the charge meter.

In my case the battery was fine, I've just got a replacement phone from orange (same battery) and it works perfectly now.
