The internal QWERTY keypad is not backlit

The Numeric keypad is backlit the Qwerty jeypad is not backlit. however as the P910i now supports T9 you can use the numeric pad in the dark (and the lights dim the same as the screen - nice touch) or you can use the virtual keypad, so it's no big deal.
Not lighting the internal Qwerty pad does seem a strange oversight though.

with lighting on the internal keyboard surely its thickness would increase further?
it doesn't seem to be to much of a problem without.
does anyone know when the p910 will be available from orange uk?
they say some time in the next 2 weeks.
can anyone tell me better, i've been waiting ages and want to get my hands on this phone!
thanks.

The light from screen should be enough to light up internal keyboard.

Yeh that makes sense. But I still think that they could have mande the qwerty keyboard characters semi-transparent and then they use the same light source as the numberic buttons, thus using less power and not making the keyboard any thicker...
Meh, what would i know, I still use the p800....

Yeah, I was very suprised to say the least when I saw my mate's new P910i with the QWERTY keyboard not lighting at all as he was having trouble using it in darkness.
