Hey my friend who also got the SE P910i yesterday has a hell of alot of contacts on his Nokia 8310 and is there anyway you genius's know if we can transfer his contacts to the SE?
Is so could you please tell us how and what exactly to do because i have no idea

depending on how many contacts they could save them from the 8310 to the sim and then put the sim in the p910 and tranfers them to the phone memory.
not sure if you can sync the 8310 with outlook but if you could that would be another way.

Ok, thanks for trying. I went onto the Nokia website and checked out this phones specification and one of the bullet points was this:
"Infrared applications"
Does that mean it is possible to tranfser his contacts through infared, and if so how do we do that as i have never done that before.

you maybe able to sync via infra red from the 8310 to outlook though aint sure of the process you may need some nokia software to act as a go between. if you can do that you should be able to sync with outlook then from out look to the 910 via the sync station and se software

you can send each contact by IR as a business card. or just use the sim card and copy and paste them from the 8310 to the p910

Ok thanks for all your help it's greatly appreciated, when i do Infared which i have never done before could you just tell me what i need to do, as i have never does infared or Sync yet.
