I have a funny feeling he meant that 250 pounds was too much for the tariff that you got it on. Rather than Wow that was cheap...

I honestly don't see the big advantage of p910 over the p800... Don't start a flame war here, or start PM-ing me the differences, 'cause I know them. Just I don't see the BIG improvement. I was expecting WiFi or sumthing REALLY cool like that....

Yeah I got mine for £180 on 200 minutes tariff so you should have got yours lower.

@nickorooster

I just replaced my P800 with this and simply the looks, Qwerty keypad, 64MB instead of 12MB storage and the fact you can use 1GB MS instead of 128MB was enough to sell it to me. never mind adding T9 (which as ex Nokia I miss) and not losing my stylus every time I go out.

But the main selling point for me was that it doesn't squeak when I hold it, the battery cover on my P800 was driving me nuts anyway I gave my P800 away for free so now thats two happy people

although strangely I find it slower to respond when switching between apps that the P800 but maybe a firmware fix will solve this, I suspect it is something to do with Vodafone's branding and will be getting a generic CPW flash as soon as a new firmware comes out, then I can update it online instead of waiting for a Voda flash.

Wow... You gave yor p800 away.... How generous.. I just bought one off Ebay. Well, I know what you mean when you say "squeak", as I was sold a dodgy p800 which I have now got refunded for and it "squeaked" as you say. But I read of a fix for this, It's just that it makes the battery cover harder to get off. All you need is a hot glue gun and some know how. Just put a small dollop of glue in the "V' shaped clip thingy on the end of the p800's battery cover and it should "tighten" it, thus reducing the noise and the "weak" feel. I also did this on my brother's Gamboy and it fixed it right up.

I might post some pics of the process and a step by step guide in another thread someday...

Nick

Edit: Now I see the advantages of the p900... Can the p800's firmware be upgraded to accept a higher than 128meg duo card?

You guys sure know how to ruined his (JuggyD) day.
He went from happy to kicking his own behind.

@JuggyD
www.my-symbian.com (software)
www.mobile9.com (themes for your phone)
Just a couple to start, do a search and you'll find tons of places to get stuff for your phone.
