My Friend is about to buy an unlocked T6xx and he is going to use it it in southern Califonia USA, and with T-Mobile...should he buy a unlocked T637 or a T630?

Should buy a T630 with 900/1800/1900. Because when he travels he can use the 900 in the Carebbean and India for example, while with the T637 with 850/1800/1900 the 850 is useless unless he uses Cingular and goes of the main routes where he could roam on Cingular/ATT with the farther reaching 850 band.
