I have been trying to create a theme for my K700i

I have managed to do most of it.

But cannot find a way to create the highlights (for example, when a tab is selected Tools/Settings ... or when an SMS is selected in Inbox)

Is there an online tutorial that could help me do that?

I am asking because I understand that the Ericsson Theme Creator 1.5 accepts image files. But I cannot understand how to create a highlight image file when the highlight part will move on the screen when the selected item is changed.

Does this have something to do with transparent GIF files?

You can use png files, they support alpha channels.

alpha channels can make the image semi-transparent. So you can see an image but you can see the background through it.

In difference to GIF images where you can make the pixel 100% visible, or 100% transparent..
