Hi

I have a new K700i and I have noticed that quite frequently you get fine horizontal lines down the screen which make screen look like an interlaced image, easily viewable on solid colours.

I guess these are cause by RF interference.

Is this interference pattern normal?

Have you both had a really good look it's not that obvious until you notice it, then it is annoying.

It's looks just like an interlaced TV picture where you can see the scan lines.

Only lasts a seconds or so, but happens regularly.

Hold phone close to eyes and look at a solid area of colour.

Thanks

Neil

I do noticed it on some t610 and t630, it disappeared if the brightness was set a bit lighter or brighter. It could be fw or cam bug, do an upgrade or go to se service. This message was posted from a T630

Its not a bug, its how the screen works. You notice it in low backlit screens with solid color. I noticed this when I first got my k700 and the screensaver switched to the standby clock, where it is more apparent. This message was posted from a K700i

So does anyone else think this is normal?

I have noticed it occasionally on my old T630.

On the K700i it's like a couple of times a minute, it's a shame as the screen is excellent quality apart from this.

Phone is less than a week old, so need to know if it's faulty and needs to go back.

Thanks.

I thought it was because The k700i was a tft screen. Noticed the lines when i got it, they happen if you wiggle it about in your hand

Hmmm, there seems to be a constant hunt for problems with the K700. If I have to hold the phone inches from my eye, wiggle it about and squint to see these lines, I'm not going to bother, so therefore no problem !!
