If you can run fast enough, you can get it for free.

With the assumption of the SE P910/i, surely it will hit rock-bottom mate, just what happened with the SE P800 when the P900 was made it's entrance in the market. Give yourself till Christmas time, by then it will surely be safe to buy one mate!

If you are going to buy the phone outright then it does seem as though the P900 is coming down quicker that a Prossies knikers at the moment so i am with JN on this one hang it out a little bit longer

This is not the same case.
The P910 is a replacement of the P900, and the P900 is discontinued.
The existing P900 are the ones the vendors already bought!
Vendors don't like to loose money and they'll try to sell them with some profit using all means.
Nowadays you can already find cheaper P910i's than P900's in the same store!
Nobody likes to loose money.

I doubt the P900 will drop that much, they are still a very fit device and the difference between the P910 are marginal and upgradable for little cost, yes it might well drop a bit but don't expect to pay sub 300us anytime soon

To be really safe mate . . . buy it when the successor of the SE P910i comes out in the market ! But as I've said, Christmas time will surely be the right time of buying one, as many of us here will have their big fat bonuses !

I guess It's just me, but doesn't feel quite right to search for a *new* outdated and discontinued phone.
Even with a hacked firmware, support from SonyEricsson will be zero.
Also I'm pretty sure I'm going to take advantage of the new stuff, like multiple-connection BT and keyboard.
If I was you, I would search for a second-hand P900.

With a general price at US$800 when it came out comparing. Right now you can get it for US$640. It dropped pretty good. I think it will drop some more. However, I guess not that much. So buy now and enjoy.
