> K700 HID configuration
Bookmark topic
I've just created an iTunes profile for the remote control on the K700, but it won't work!
I have "itunes.kcf" and "itunes.jpg" in a TAR file renamed to "itunes.hid". I sent it to the phone via BT, and it saved it in the remote control menu. However, when I try and use it is just says "operation failed".
Here is my kcf file. Any know what I might be doing wrong?

Ok, turns out it was a problem with the TAR file. I don't seem to be able to create compatible TAR files. I used Kim Bone's TAR file and put my own files in it, and it's working! D'oh!
Works great with iTunes. Though if you use it on a slow PC, it can mess up slightly. eg, holding down the volume control can make the PC think you're pressing the up or down arrows without CTRL.
Tip: Rather than use iTunes keyboard shortcuts for play, stop, next track, use the USB HID codes for play, stop, next track, then it works with any audio/media player, even when they're minimised (just like keyboards with those extra keys).
