Ok, finaly a got a brand new K700i without the sticky button `2.
So far so good. But, now i have read on almost every site, including esato, that the quickshare sticker is suddenly falling off(!!)
Is this quality? A brand new phone that costed me a lot of saved money got this low-budget issue. I love my K700, but considering selling it now. Sure, i can live without the quickshare sticker, but how nice does it look.... A such expencive phone sholdnt have glued stickers on that will fall off any day. Im very dissapointed about this.
I might sound silly to you, but as i said, this phone costed me a lot money, i did expect quality when i bought it, and never had in mind that the phone was able to fall apart.

i think k700 is a quality phone, the feeling is great, certainly not cheap, only t610 and the old 8*** nokias have a better feeling if you ask me, my sticker is firmly in place, i didn't had any problems with the keys.....

The issues with the K700 are well known and the information was available to you before you purchased the phone but you went ahead and spent your money anyway. C'est la vie.

When browsing you will see many people who have had a problem because they want to vent or find out how to fix it but people are much less likely to post and say "nothing is wrong" !
A friend has a K700i and has had no problems, mine is on order

no i find that k700 is a quality phone. i love the graphics and everything else. my #2 button never got stuck also. i think is the batches of stocks that got the button stuck problem lah. so to summarise it, it is a good quality phone and it is worth buying it.

Apart from hearing people talk about their sticker fall off, I've also heard people talk about lines on their screen, battery bugs, firmware bugs, camera quality issues and another sticker falling off.
I agree, you are so damned lucky not to have had to experience any of these issues yourself. You are warned. best is to sell your phone immediately to the first unsuspecting fool you see.
In fact, let's do better than that. I'll pay you £ 10 for it to take it of your hands
You'll be much better off with a cheaper yet better phone.

This must be some kind of record - complaining about something that hasnt happened to you yet and may never happen.
K700 is very much qualitybuild !
- so it has a single small plastic sticker that is not bolted on but glued on and thus may (or may not) fall of if the glue for some reason dissolves, so what ?
Its not the end of the world and I would hardly describe it as the phone falling apart. The sticker on my phone is firmly in place and I doubt it will ever fall of - but if it should Ill just superglue it on again, or just leave it off (I dont care for it anyway since its only an advertising sticker with no function and I dont even think it looks good)
PS: I thought from previous postings that you prefered Siemens to SE - what changed your mind into getting a K700 ??

I will second that, Ive had my k700i for like a month now. Never had a problem besides it freezing (my fault). Although i have the t-mobile branded one. So i guess that could account for the batch issue. Overall this phone is top notch. If its that much of an issue then why dont you see if the problems are covered by the warranty.

What im saying is that a phone this expencive shouldnt have this problems. About the quickshare logo, its not like the end of the world if it fells off, i never claimed that. Just the fact that almost everyone with a k700 looses the quickshare logo after a while is a lack of quality.
You might not agree with me, but i cant help thinking this is a factory bug. If you buy a new mercedes would you care if the "star" on the hood falls off? Im aware that you cant compare a mercedes with a phone, but you get my point?
