Does anyone know who i can email at o2 to get a response from someone with an actual BRAIN?

I've now sent 5 emails to them about my "online" account because the "send txt" option on my account webpage does not work, all I get is a "you have requested an unknown action" error every time.

Now I tried to explain to these morons, in each of the 5 emails that it is NOT a browser issue OR a login problem since ive tried firefox AND IE6 home AND at work, and I do not have any problems logging in. After the first email they told me to clear my browser cache, after the second email they told me they had reset my password on my account, after the 3rd email they replied saying because i had not sent the email from the registered account I would need to reply to them with my mobile number, account order number, home number, date of birth, registered email, account login and address. After the fourth email they once again told me to clear my browser cache, and the last straw just now was the 5th reply which once again told me they had reset my f***ing password AGAIN!

At no point did one single one of these morons in india actually refer to the problem specifically or come up with any suggestion which even indicated they had a clue what they were doing. From the 2nd email onwards I started putting "get it right" in the subject which they say then gets it dealt with as a matter of priority, and each time it took 3-4 days for a reply, and still came back with the same moronic responses.

So it's now gone way past just trying to get this crap fixed so I can actually use one of the features of my online account and I'm now seriously considering cancelling the contract. I also happen to be a K700 user who has a DSS-25 syncstation, so for reasons that other o2 k700 users will know only too well, I am very P***ED off!

Now does anyone know who I can email to get through to someone (in the uk rather than someone whos probably never even seen a mobile phone before) that actually has a brain and might give some sort of proper response (which DOESNT involve resetting my password AGAIN without telling me or asking first!)!

Try o2datasupport@o2.com they at least appear to be knowledgeable.

I'm going through the same. Emailed O2's 'normal' customer support to ask why I can't upgrade the firmware in my O2 phone on SE's site.

They keep sending me back stupid emails asking for all my personal information and account information "before they can see if I'm eligible for a contract upgrade within 12 months"

They obviously have absolutely no idea what I'm asking, see the word 'upgrade' and assume I want to upgrade my account, not the firmware in my phone.

Every email has been from a different Indian name person.

Absolutely useless.

BUT, saying that, the people in Data Support seem quite knowledgable and are helpful so give them a go and explain your predicament...
