Only in Norwegian, but here is the main thing in the article:
Norwegian teenage girls send an MMS every other day, while boys of the same age sends around two each month. A researcher state that girls uses the phone in a different way than boys. The girls uses the messages to build relations.
Two interviewed girls say that they mostly send MMSs containing photos of cute boys they see or of situations they experience, like shopping clothes. A scientist refers to a gallup which shows that more girls than boys take photos without asking the persons in the frame.
The following graphic show the difference, with the age on the X-axis and the number of MMSes every day on the Y-axis. Girls in red...

@kristaga - Quite an interesting thread you got here pal! Speaking of which, I guess applies to all teenies worldwide ! As my niece, an 8 year old (not a teen though) manages to consume the credits that I am giving her in just 5 days

There was one time this offer, people got 150 messages if they get credit for 100 messages, so 50 free. It was valid for 2 months. But I met (female) customers who manages to sms 150 messages with in a day!
