Hi,

currently have the P800 and would love the P90 / P910 purely on looks at first and obviously the other aded bonuses

however.. and its a big however, my tariff is only £12 per month so my monthly bills are never above £15.

therefore for me to upgrade cost around £350 !!

is there another cheap option to get this phone ?

I was thinking, and its pretty complicated, as my currently contract is up, upgrade to the best value phone and sell it straight away and also sell my current P800 and that should raise enough money for the P9x0

What do you think ?

Thanks

won't that be difficult as the p910 is over £500. A p800 is only going to be worth about £150, prob a bit less than that if it is a year+ old now. How much is the best phone going to be worth on a £15 contract. £200? that means you will still need to raise another £200 from somewhere. Unless you look at buying a 2nd hand p900, as they can be picked up for around £270ish on ebay now. Even get news one on ebay for around £300 which should be within budget.
Also you have to sell the 2 phones as well, which can be difficult when you have a minimum price that you want for them.

I have just sorted mine out,

Sold my mate my p800 for £100, its pretty much imaculate
Upgraded to p910i, they wanted £200 with 12month contract so I called em back and said O2 would do me one for 169£ with similar contract (I was BSing here) they matched if I signed a 18mnt contract. It arrives tomorrow.

Total cost to me £70

I was thinking of keeping my p800 and getting a K700i to go out with for £30 but my mate offered to buy mine and the vodafone branding on the k700i sounds like a right pain in the arse.

have a chat with the "I want to leave vodafone" people on 08700 700 191 (or just 191 from your vodafone mobile) option 3 option 5.

originally I was charged £82 for my P910 upgrade but I wan't happy with that so I called that number and not only did they refund the £82 giving it to me for free but I also got 6 month half price line rental, free international call saver and a half price data package for 6 months too!

sell your p800, you probably wont get more than £120 (but if you do, good ) and then get a p900; they are going for less than £200, last few on esato went for £175, £180, £190-ish. Very good deals if your on a budget, then upgrade the firmware to use the bigger memory cards (upto 512mb-1gb...)

Take a upgrade and sell that on too if you want to make a profit and cover the monthly bill
