i got my K700 today (supposed to be yesterday) i was reading the manual and it said it may take up to 4 hours for a full charge initially, i stuck it on charge and went downstairs i came back up about 10 mins later and the battery meter is nearly full! what do i do about this or is this a common thing with the ericssons? :S

If it's an initial charging (very 1st charge when bought) - YES! go for the 4 hours mate! Just disregard the full green battery icon on the screen . . . I guess this will go on till it's 5th cycle of charging ?

If its full, not any more, has no use. Take off the plug and thats it.

@bobafett - Yes! I guess the chargin' should go on as prescribed on it's first few chargings - 4 hours!
@conor88 - If it's really the very 1st charge that you are doin' with your fone then let it stand for 4 hours dude! Disregard the batt icon with it's full green bar on !

Just leave it in for the 4hours. It's probably for the better in the long run

@condor88 - Yes! Initial charging takes 4 hours to fully substantiate the contents of your batt's cells - go with it mate ! Though when you already hit the 3rd hour, better touch your fone and the charger if it's overheating, just to be sure here. What the heck, your fone will not burn I guess, as mine did not . . .
