I am trying to do a "proper" master reset via the service menu every time i go in to the service menu i cant find the reformat button. I have been reseting phones properley through this menu on many SE phones have se introduced a new secret menu which holds the master reset button?

i only ask because i am selling my S700 and need to do a proper reset not just the one in the settings menu as that one is not as thorugh.

its great how your all dying to answer how many sms's a s700 can hold and if the mp3 player plays mp3's when some one asks a proper technical question you all run for the hills.

it's also great you've given it all of 10 minutes before starting with the sarcasm

I take it it's NOT hidden under settings then?

Calm yourself mate! It's only been 10 minutes!
There is also no such reset in the K700 service menu. The only phones I know that do have it are the P-Series.
Have you actually tried the master reset in the menu and found it to leave some items remaining? I don't expect that there phones need a 'format' of the internal drive as a P-Series does.

Do us a favour,
Try the normal one and see if it leaves anything behind.
It's not a smartphone

Well by that reasoning why should anyone help you in the first place. It seemed like you weren't even prepared to try the normal reset!
So what is the difference? Are you not even going to tell anyone else this super secret code?
