Hi all,
I am a newcomer to this forum.
I am unable to connect to the bluetooth handsfree in my car.
The P900 (with FW R5B02) found the handsfree ok, I entered the passcode and it bonded ok. However, the handsfree in the car does not pick up the P900.
I used a Nokia 6310 as well as a T68i which bonded fine without any problem.
For example with the T68i, I did the discover, get it bonded. Then I can just go into paired device and select the handsfree and connect it. But there is no such option to connect in P900.
I have tried to send the phone number from P900 via bluetooth to the handsfree (to inital some sort of communication) but it also failed...
Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

That's because the P900 handsfree profile is really non-existent. You will find it in the P910 though. It was kinda strange how SE really didn't incorporate it into the phone being that the older T6x models had it as well as some other phones. I really don't think there's much you can do at this point, but really just get a P910 or use another phone in the interim. You'll find this issue with pretty much any vehicle. I had the same issues and my problems were pretty much solved with the newer model. Sorry.

By the way, if you like the line of SE HBH headsets you might want to give the HBH-660 a shot. I just picked one up this week and so far I'm impressed. I do like the display on the headset which rivals that of the HBH-200. I was totally against the HBH-200 mainly because it added an extra wired piece which totally undermined the point of having a total wireless system. The -660 is tad bit heavier then the HBH-65, but I think it has moved up the ranks as one of SE's best headsets to-date.
