The latest version of Agile Messenger (available from www.agilemobile.com) contains a Push-To-Talk facility, allowing you to send voice messages over GPRS.

@lowcge you need to push and keep Internet button in as long you are talking, when release the voice msg will be sent.

I have not try it from PC to phone either but if you have Yahoo voice chat that might work from PC to phone.

Here's one app that work from PC to phone. http://www.T2me.net download one for phone and one for PC, you can then sent voice message from phone to phone (must have same apps on both phone) or send to PC and vice versa. I have been using this program and it work great.

@dave

you said you can send voice messages over GPRS but do you need the full internet GPRS settings or can you use standard GPRS settings?

@all

what ports do the instant messenger services run on? if anybody knows, please post.cheers

Not sure as I never use the WAP APN, only the full internet one, nor have I actually used the new functionality in Agile, but I would get the full internet APN activated on your account either way, just to be on the safe side. Anyway, you should have it cos you can't browse the web otherwise.
