Hi

Does the P9x00 use flash memory?
Since I read the P9x00 uses flash memory instead of RAM to store files, I got concerned with security in the P910!
I'm comming from an Palm V which stores everything in RAM, so if the thief gets hold of the Palm and can not bypass the password lock, it has to reboot the PDA and loose everything in it.

I never used a P9x00 before. What are the stategies people use to save sensitive information and to avoid anyone who grabs your phone to mess around with your contacts or see your pictures ...?
Is possible to implement a password lock, like the screensaver password lock in windows?

Any info about this or advise about applications I should purchase is helpfull!

Thanks

yes there is a screensaver lock as part of the standard firmware which works fairly similar to windows

also the phone cannot be master reset without the phone lock code (so don't leave it at the default 0000!)

@masseur

That's good news, on the other hand I don't understand the reboot.
Can a locked P9x00 be acessed from a PC to steal information/files?

I searched and found a few security applicaions for the phone.
In your oppinion what are the best?

Thanks
