Hope im not repeating what someone else has already asked (tried to look for this problem).

Basically my screen goes white every other day and i cant do anything. Sometimes it comes back but most of the time it stays white. I can bring up the switch phone off menu but when i select 'phone off' nothing happens. I have to take the battery out every time to restart the phone which cant be good.

Anyone know of this problem?

Jim

I get that white screen here and there(once every 2 week), not every other day like you. I also have to take my battery out. Have you updated firmware? I have not encounter this problems as often, only once since firmware update about month ago.

you don't have to take the battery out - you can hold down the power button for about 15 secs and the phone turns off (equivalent to a soft reset).

Not much help, I know, but hey!

I experience white screens too, but they are mostly application related. Some applications make my phone hang especially if ur running a background app like tracker and u've just installed a new app. A soft reset solves the problems, and the new app works fine.

I've had similar issues with the P910, strangely on 2 occassions now, when I plug the phone it to recharge it suddenly just reboots for no apparent reason?!?
