> SMS problem P900 What to do?
Bookmark topic
Almost every time I write a sms my P900 is incredible slow and the text program shuts down!
I normally write in "clap closed" mode - often starting with "Hello somebody

) and it appears that tapping the "1" button three times for making the smiley just makes my P900 crash.
Afterwards I can go right back in and create a new sms without any problems with smileys...
It says: Program shutdown
Program Messages
Reasoncode ETEXT
Reasonnumber 12
(I've roughly translated to english from danish)
What can be done?¿? - it's almost impossible to write a sms on the P900 and I'm actually considering to sell it because of this!!!
Hopefully somebody can save me from this big mistake - since the P900 otherwise is the best phone I've ever had (except for the size... but with all those functions that's just the way it has to be...)

DON'T SELL IT!!!!
Just, work with it. I'm sure you could try startign with a different message!!! Try "Greetings Somebody" or "What is Up Somebody".
Or you COULD sell it, but I just think that it's such a waste....

I have the newest software installed... On a danish P900 forum I've noticed that I'm not the only one with this problem - maybe it's related to the danish translation of the software?
Do nobody using english software have any problems typing etc " Hello "name"

" in flip closed mode ?("1" three times)

Already done that, and made a clean install of everything... But as I said it is aparently a big problem with danish P900s... Would it help to bring it to a serviceshop for an update? I've never thought of it since one can do the update at home (It's still as good as if you took it to a serviceshop, right...?¿?)

Have You installed Sman or a simular programme, on the ms duo, theese programs Must be installed on the internal memory ! I have absolutely no problems, since i moved Sman to the internal memory, but if this do not help you then try going to a SE Servicecenter and ask them to re-install the software.. Hvad er adressen på det danske P900 forum, du skrev om ?
