Any one know anything about the P910 supporting BT audio gate way..? SE claim it does but strangly say they do not offer support!!

Reason i ask is because i'm using the P910 with Wayfinder and the Parrot CK3300 BT car kit, it works well but it would be better if the voice navigation came through the car kit stereo speakers.. rather than the phone speaker..

I'm told by Parrot that if the phone supports the BT audio gateway it should work through the kit.. I cant see anyway this can be done but if anyone knows if this is possible please let me know how..

Audio gate way would also allow music to play through BT, or is that just wishful thinking..?

That would not be something that SE would be responsible for developing though. It more likely would come through a 3rd party interest. The technology is available through some other BT headsets (Korean manufs), but I doubt SE will capitilize on it.

Here's an example of SE's track record in their reluctancy to expanding their technology to co-op with other devices. The BT pen had tons of promises in which SE paired with Anoto to launch the product together. Sadly to say the product fell short and patches were only developed for the T68(i) and P800/P900. I had to go through tooth and nails to get one of those pens. When I got it I used it for 3 months and set it aside because SE didn't want to find the burden to invest much time into supporting it. So the burden was mainly left to the operators that picked up the service as well as Anoto. Well, that didn't fly for long and the release of the SE BT pen went from delayed to the worldwide launch being cancelled. I guess the same case can be made about the Blackberry support which SE has already left to the hands of the end users and companies that will provide the servers. No software really developed by SE as they only setup the capability to allow it to function, but the production and utilization to be carried by the end user/3rd party companies.

So in short, don't count on it.
