I would like to know if is possible 2 save Voice recordings directly on external mem stick? Seems recordings are using up on-board memory as a default.

Thanks

unofrtunately, and surprisingly, you can't choose to save recordings on the external drive. it was the same in the P800 and remains the same in the P910

Not possible record direct but there is an option that I am using often. At least on P910 it works fine because of big Internal memory. Record whatever you want, then search for *.wav on your C memory. I am using HandyExplorer but Sman and Fileman is ok also. Then copy the file to D drive or to pc! Works very fine and I have lot of wav files saved at memorystick now.

Thanks. The file copying is a good work-around. I'll do that.

Yes. Used that method on my P900 & now on my P910i. Does seem strange that you don't have option to Save As a file anywhere doesn't it.

Another way to save voicememo file: Record a voicememo, choose to send it by e-mail. Look under attachments, there it is. Now, just mark it and the soundplayer will start, and there you have the save button ! Simple and fast ! This message was posted from a WAP device
