I am a mac user and I have a question regarding syncing with windows.

Are the categories synchronized (calendar/contacts) when you sync the P910 with outlook? What about pictures assosiated with contacts.

No pics are sync'ed and some fields may be adapted/omitted according to your Outlook settings.

Categories? You mean Contacts/Calendar/Tasks/Messages/Notes?

You can choose which of these you synchronise, in SyncStation settings, and whether or not you want the phone or the PC to win in the event of a conflict - sounds like war!

Regarding Outlook sychronisation :

Does anyone have any experience with the Oxygen Phone Manager (OPM)? Haven't seen anything about it on Esato, but it looks like very capable software. You can get it at

http://www.oxygensoftware.com/products/symbian/opm/
or
http://www.opm-2.com/symbian

They seem to have made a decent attempt to solve the categories vs. folders problem between Outlook and Symbian phones.

I actually did try it out a while ago with my P800 briefly and it did seem to work with an infrared connection. They say Bluetooth works as well, which I haven't been able to check (no BT on my PC), but the USB cable connection does not. I didn't have much time to look into it then though.

Anyway I'm trying to copy over all my contacts/calendar/tasks/notes from my P800 to my new P910i, which is why I am looking at this again.

Is anyone else using Oxygen OPM?
