After playing around with the 910 for 10 days found following hitches (which maybe my oversight, since this is the 1st P series phone I used):
1. There shud be a X button or close / exit in the drop down menu for all programs...I know there are programs to do this but common...
2. Get following error quite often especially when surfing:
program closed
program: main
reason code: keern-exec
reason no.:3
---
Information: unknown error
3. space key on qwerty is 2 point sensitive...so when I press in the middle of the key no space..
4. PDF document: when viewing full screen shud be some way or key to go to next page...I mean everytime have go to drop down menu & press next page.
5. shud show the time instead of the clock icon on the battery bar.
6. when listening thru FM headset... the speaker is still on & If I play mp3 or ring it just goes to the speaker instead of the FM headphones (thru which I can still receive calls, etc)
7. The inbuilt music player shud have a choice of whether to play next song or not...it just keeps playing all....
8. Shud have the option of setting any home page I like rather than the SE one. (like make this page home page kindof) & also be able to make opera the default browser.
9. Should be able to minimize atleast 2 or 3 programs to the bar below like in windows... so it comes up on a click.
10. we shud be able to change the startup / shutdown.
11. sms...does not have option of delivery report ? ( ok checked it it does have u have to select in the next page of SMS, but shud'nt it be in the default like it is in the mms setttings)
12. contacts...shud add column for birthday, etc.
13. i dont know if it is already there, but the quick internet button shud be customizable.
14. on opening the flap I shud be able to close the control panel if I wanna just view the full screen wallpaper.
phew sorry for the rant

...not that I dont love the phone its like nothing I have used before & I feel I made a mistake not going for the P series before...just that maybe SE cud do something about the above or maybe someone cud clear my ignorance on certain issues. Lastly the phone is too good.

It works on the P910, it allows you to close programs that you do not want open everytime you close the flip.

The most serious bug I have found in the P910i means I have to get the PUK2 code from SE tomorrow
If you have the NumPad locked then the keys do not respond to random pocket presses unless you happen to hit one of the emergency numbers (a standard problem on any phone) but the P910i has a particularly nasty optio where you can lock the device using the screensaver.
Now the problem is once the screensaver locks the device the keypad becomes normally responsive so your random pocket (or PDA style case flap) presses can now cause the device to lock, what happens is the keys get pressed and then the OK gets pressed and the phone sees this as an attempt to illegally enter the device, three times and your device becomes locked and you need the PUK2 code to unlock it.
What
Tw@t designed that?
I need my device locking to stop people missusing it when left on my desk at work, not that people do but it cuts down the temptation and gives me peace of mind, or so I thought

Should you really spell Should "Shud".
Your not sending an SMS when it is acceptable, are you?
Within a couple of decads all languages will have changed to short form because lazy bastards can't be arsed to use full words.

It is just the deterioration of society. They think they are cool, but they are not. Language was invented to clearly communicate.

Hmm...possible but atleast there will be nothin short for
Bast@rd ...so the era of foul mouthed people will end

if after writing a full page a few short cuts are not acceptable (though will have to check the rule book I guess)

I dont think there is any miscommunication in Should=shud ??
@BlackBauer24: thanks, yes I do use tracker & the taskman is included with the tracker.

I noticed in my phone using gprs I cannot connect to opera & agile messenger but if I put the 910 on the cradle it automatically uses the pc internet connection & connects to both... any idea as to what might be the problem ? even programs like globetrotter, etc dont update in the gprs connection but do when on cradle.
