Well how about compatibility . . . say, an SE branded Bluetooth with that of a Nokia fone model ? Will the music on it's fone's MP3 be heard completely?

As no 'hush-hush' sound mate . . . Will go back with my compatability issue 'Q' dude, if it's meant for each other, then the sound will just be nice and fine, if not, then some cranky sound intereference might just occur while the music is in play ?

Is Bluetooth not just a universal medium that should be compatible across all brands?

Now that's the kind of answer I am waiting for mate . . . Now, does that compatibilty goes too with the IR things, encompassing all fone brands nationwide? Say, transferring SMS with two different fone brands will the message pass thru - (Sorry quite off-topic here as 'Bluetooth' issue is being discussed in this thread, just making a comparison with that of Bluetooth and IR as a universal/common medium when transferring datas) . . .

As far as I know all BT headsets will work with all phones otherwise 3rd party manufacturers such as jabra would have to make a version of the headsets for each model of phone!
