My screen has been totally damaged - can't see anything other than multicoloured vertical lines. Orange are replacing under insurance cover and I am awaiting delivery of replacement this morning.I have backed up to my laptop but can't see how I can delete all my data from the phone before I hand it in. I can't use the phone's screen so only have the link vi athe cradle.I can access the P900 folder from my laptop but it only shows me the files I have uploaded, which I can delete, but not the Outlook type data (contacts, diary, etc) Does anyone know how I can access/delete from my lapotp?

After talking to SE helpline can now answer my own question. You can't do it save by backing up to laptop and then deleting all Outlook data on the laptop, synching to the phone and then , on receipt of new phone (now have) restoring the back up to the phone and then synching back to the lapotp

Wht not use PC Filemanager
Get a demo version from:
http://www.epocware.com
As long as you can get your phone started to the point of normal use you will be able to access your files on the C drive.
Good Luck

There is a way to do it if you can can connect with PC and initiate a backup/restore process as there is a trick with the PC Explorer software. Send me a PM & I may be able to help (but not tonight as I'm busy this evening).
