Hi,

Have got a P800, which I bought 2nd so not sure what its like brand new...

anyways i find that once i eject the memory stick, its sometimes quite hard to get back in.

i would need to use the pen to keep 'poking' it until it finally 'clicks' in...

is this normal for the P800 or is the mechanism broken ?

Thanks

I've never encountered any difficulty inserting the Duo. It should push in easily and click in place first time.

Obviously it only goes in one way which is strangely upside down on the P800 (with the writing facing down)

On occasion... there are a few P800s that have this problem... it's not broken or anything... it's just that not all MS Duos are exactly the same.. specially at the size that they are manufactured. Some have difficulty catching the locking mechanism. Mine used to do that with some sticks.

Have you tried any other Duos in it to see if it occurs with all of them or just that one?

well i have 2 sticks, 128 and the supplied 16 i think it is..

both are official sony ones and both have similar problems,

just need to keep poking it til it catches i guess...

so if i sell this should i mention this, and say its not broken but just ... rubbish design
