This may have been asked already, but anyway i cant find it.

ive got games on my first k700 which arent on my second k700 is there any way to transfer the gaems from the phon to the PC then onto the other phone?

It's not possible at the moment to download games FROM the phone, try sending it from the computer to the phone itself

nooo u misunderstand, i want to get them off the phone onto the PC. i dont have them on the pc atm.

do u not think that if u could send them via bluetooth/IRDA id have done that?

its not an option on the k700 to send games from phone to PC via either, hence why i was asking how anyone else does it

yes it was asked before...
and the answer was.. u can transfer only if u have a data cable(no ir/bt) and some software.
most of these games loaded onto the phone cannot be sent to another phone because of licensing issues (its a pain!!).
but if u have the game on computer, u can send it very easily to the phone.
btw, what games u looking to transfer. maybe one of the websites have it on.

i hate to be the one to bring bad news but there is absolutely NO way to transfer files from the phone to PC using any method.

@plasma - Using data cable you cant even transfer games to the games folder !

you can only move it to the 'other' folder from which you CANT move it anywhere else.

The only way is to download the games.

I'm not sure if you can transfer games via bt TO the phone. Never tried it out .

I'm using a 'Belkin' usb bt adapter and am finding it excellent for transfering games, mp3's etc.... with the adaptor came a driver cd and also setup a file for me to put my music, themes, mp3 ringtones etc into, from which I can see from my 'unbranded ,latest firmware installed K700' (yeh baby !).

The software that came with the adapter allows me to 'drag drop' files onto my phone, last night I put several games straight onto 'other' file. Although the phone doesn't recognise them, I now have an option to send the games to another devise.

Hey guys !! Good news !

You can use BT to transfer games to the K700i... and it works .. i've tried it !! Well i suppose K700 should be any different.

How?
1. Place the theme on the Desktop of your PC
2. On the Phone goto Connectivity -> Bluetooth -> My Devices -> New Device
Let the Phone search and connect to your PC. Make sure BT on the PC is on... obvious eh!
3. Once connected it would appear in the list. Click it to Browse it and you PC's desktop contents should be available.
4. Go down to the Game (.jar) file and click Get.
5. Once downloaded it would ask you where to place it and the Games folder appears ! Select it and its there.
6. Play it
