> F500i on Vodafone UK, strange Line 1/2 issue

Decided to buy a F500i on Vodafone because Woolworths are doing the deal where if you buy one you get a Sony Discman free with it.
Not a bad phone for taking on a night out when I might not want to take my S700i with me I thought.
Switched it on, all seemed fine. Standard SE Vodafone live! interface. After a few switch on/offs an extra icon appeared in the status bar. A phone icon with a 1 next to it which means that I'm currently using Line 1. Also the option to change lines has appeared in the call settings menu. Obviously I don't have Line 2 (Vodafone UK don't support it) so I can't call on this other line.
Anyone else experienced this? It's not a problem really I can just ignore it but wonder why it suddenly appeared.
