i can't get the pc suite to work... i tried using every form of communication device (bluetooth, usb cable, infrared) and still can't get it to work. can someone tell me whether the pc suite is very useful? if not, i won't bother anymore and move on..

In my point of view, the pc suite itself is not important, but you DO need some sort of connectivity. You can, however download a copy of the latest pc suite from the un-offcial SE club (google it).
