You used a Non-Se battery in your k700i.

Its ratings are 3.7v 750mAh

3 cells should be 3.6v,and not 3.7v.all cells(rechargeable)are,or should be 1.2 volts each. This message was posted from a K700i

It certainly won't damage the phone, but whether the phone detects if it's an original or not is a different matter. This message was posted from a K700i

You might have trouble with the battery indicator and void the warrenty if something happens. I would not recommend it because

I've got a battery, which looks like a genuine one but probably is'nt, and been using that fne in my k7 as a spare batt. It has quite a good life too!

It hasn't blown up. Yet.

I thought that the BST-30 has 3.6V and 670/700 mah - specs? Well if that is the 'replacement' one that you are talkin' 'bout mate, then I would certainly not go for it! One of the nicest features every SE fone has is that when you use and charge a non-original battery, the screen goes: Charging Alien Battery ! Good one to detect fakes from real (batteries) . . .
