Why wont it wokr :'(... You put in the Http proxy settings, and it dont work! On MSN 7, you can test the connection and it says you can connect! My only guess is that it takes to long and therefore time-outs, any way to stop this? I just want MSN on the move (dont tell me bout e-messenger)...
Any ideas?

You have to use a dial-up account as gprs doesnt allow cookies etc.

I managed to login and pick up my yahoo emails this weekend through a proxy o2 gprs connection, but today it is saying cookies rejected and i can't login.
Have they changed this today?
Can i use a dialup connection to install cookies then login through gprs and let them read the cookie or do i need a fresh cookie for every visit?
If not, which email services allow unsecure login with no cookies?
thanks

You can do the dial up trick with yahoo, but it's down to the browser you use when it asks for your password the next day on gprs. I can give it the password the next day fine in ie5, but opera and netscape won't allow it.

Thanks for prompt answer. I'm using IE so should work. Need to have more of a play around with it later on.Need to checkout what other sites in can use this for as it can be quite restrictive (like having to logon every time i post here).
I'm hoping i can use my O2 PAYG inclusive wap minutes for this as i don't have a landline and access no.s cost a packet on PAYG. Though if not, it sounds as if i may be able to download the cookie elsewhere and paste it straight into my cookies folder.
Thanks again

this one works fine with the http Proxy, open internet explorer and type:
http://webmessenger.msn.com/ and logon
This is the official MSN webbased messenger, which works fine on a proxy
