is there such a program? i realise that if you off the phone, the alarms won't turn the phone on and ring, like nokia phones.

What phone are you using? Most

phones will turn on if you have an alarm set for when the phone is off.

this is posted in the P800/P900/P910 forum so probably one of those and indeed none of those phone turn on at the time the alarm is set for if the phone is turned off

The P-Series are the only SEs I know that need to be on I think but it still makes things easier if people just say which phone they have!
As far as I know there is no such program but you can put the phone in flight mode so it will not get any calls etc but the alarm will still work

this question has been kinda posted and complained about elsewhere - i paraphrase the answer as being - don't switch the phone off!
Ie, if you need to save battery life, switch to airplane mode, then alarms etc ring, but no calls to disturb your peace... Can't say it's the most satisfactory answer, but frankly, when i want the phone off, i want it off, just in case i'm in a meeting etc...

I also wonder why not alarm work when the phone is off. Even if u can have flight mode it should be great if it worked.
