just a few qs about my new k700,well iv brought it on the orange network and iv seen a few ppl on here that cant use mp3 ringtones on branded k700s so will mine be able to play them as the only reason i was going to buy a dongle was for that! and are there any batteries out there that will hold there charge for more than two days??? i charged my nokia 3210 a day before fully charging my k700 and the k700s dead and the nokias only lost 1 bar

@tidytrev - Well, the very poor battery life is one of the major flaws of the SE K700/i fone model mate! Have you upgraded your firmware with that of the R2L.../R2AA . . . one? As they say, once upgraded, the battery life/performance increases by 30-40% ! Go upgrade now, if you still haven't dude . . . as it will become a perennial problem on your part chargin' your fone almost 3-4 times a week!

Please dont compare the k700 to a 3210. The k700 uses a lot of power of course
try to upgrade to the latest fw it will improve your fone's bat performance by 10-30%. mine last for 2-3 days.

yes you can still transfer pictures. id say get the dongle. even tho you cant use them as ringtones you can still listen to your favorite song while your out somewhere. and you can use it to send games and stuff too.

Your firmware I guess is an oldie here mate! Better get/upgrade with either the R2L... or the R2AA... (they say that this is the latest one) ! Yup, the dongle can be of great help as well
!

do you have an orange branded one? is yours the same firmware? thats put a smile on my face!!! are there any other ways of getting mp3s to my phone just to test as i dont wanna go buy a cable or dongle to be dissapointed lol
